Recipes for Apples

Apple Crisp


  • 6-8 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup rolled oats, either quick or old fashioned
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking pan. Place the apple slices in the pan. Combine the remaining ingredients; blend together until crumbly. Top apples with oatmeal mixture. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
